If you aren’t already attending the new media and politics forum at UMass Lowell this Saturday, the THE NEW(S) ENGLAND REVOLUTION: From Politics to Courtroom to Classroom, well, you’re not one of the kool kidz, now are you?
Bloggers will be hosting an hour-long discussion and Q&A with candidates running for the 5th district Congressional seat. Though the conference is still open for registration if you want to come for the whole day (there’s a lot of cool stuff going on), you can also choose to attend just our little shindig with the candidates and get in for free. This will occur at the Wannalancit Mills, 650 Suffolk Street in Lowell, from 2:45 to 4pm. (The conference is all day, 9am to 5pm, same place.)
So far, Eileen Donoghue and Jamie Eldridge have said they will attend.
Dick Howe and I will be moderating…somehow I keep getting roped into these things. I prefer to sit in the back and heckle. I’m a great heckler. I watched a lot of Muppets as a child.

Back in February I posted a diary about the New England News Forum conference. Immediately after the 3 PM discussion with the candidates, I’ll be co-leading a discussion, “From DC courts to NH campaigns: Has blogging gone mainstream media?”

Please consider signing up for the whole day, and coming to my session immediately after the discussion with the candidates.
