I arrived at my polling place around ten past seven this morning, and it was already fairly busy &emdash; predictions of high turnout today look justified. As usual in my experience, the poll workers were cheerful and friendly, and the process was a pleasant one.
However, I've got to find a better way to get informed about downballot races; I knew virtually nothing about the state offices which were on the ballot.
I hope everyone else has made (or will make) a point of voting today, of course, and I hope it goes as smoothly for everyone else as it did for me.
And if any of you show up to the Drinking Liberally event tonight, perhaps I'll see you there!
