In illustrating my point about the secret government Colorado has just passed a bill making public bathrooms unisex. What I said, “left” vs “right” politics serve merely as a focus group to ferret out THE most Satanic of memes to become public policy. Even I thought it was a hoax as it could not possibly be true but five minutes of Google proved otherwise.

I was with you up until your rant about sexual deviants. Are you implying that gay people are sexual deviants? I agree with you on the unisex bathroom nonsense and the dangers of social engineering. But the rest of your post just proved that you’re nothing more than a garden variety bigot.
bathrooms with men. that is, men pee all over everything, including the seat and floor. i’ve rarely been in a unisex bathroom where the floor isn’t sticky with urine. this never happens in women-only bathrooms (although sometimes women forget to wipe the seat). it’s disgusting. and when the pants come down, the cuffs get in that muck. airplanes are the worst because turbulence and too much alcohol compound the problem. until men can learn to sit or squat while peeing, i’m happy for them to keep to their delicate habit of pissing in the shrubbery and on building walls.

p>that said, if a man can learn to sit or aim properly, what do i care if he pees in the same toilet that i’ll be using 5 minutes later? people should choose the bathroom that matches their gender identity. there is NO history of abuse arising from this (other than a few incidents staged by the paranoid/hater right).

and actually read the bill in question. Don’t trust the blogs of religious fundies (which is what I got when I did your google search) who are all repeating the same talking points — I doubt any of them have actually read it either.

p>There’s nothing in there about unisex bathrooms. As a point of fact, all this bill does is add “sexual orientation” to a list of qualities (including religion, ethnicity and gender) which may not be the basis of discrimination in public facilities.

p>Once again, current law already states that sexual discrimination is out… but separate facilities do seem to meet the criteria (since there are still plenty of legal men’s and women’s bathrooms in Colorado).
