Lexington LWV hosts candidates’ night for 4th Middlesex

August 21, 2008 By Jasiu

Kenneth Donnelly and Jack Hurd, candidates for the 4th Middlesex district State Senate seat formerly held by James Marzilli, will present their qualifications and views on governmental policy at a Candidates Night sponsored by the Lexington League of Women Voters on Monday, August 25,2008 at Estabrook Hall.

Estabrook Hall is located downstairs in Town Hall ( Cary Hall ) in Lexington center and is handicapped accessible. The hall will be open at 7:00 pm for refreshments and informal conversation. The program is expected to start at 7:30pm.

…

This is an opportunity for the candidates to present their positions on issues and to listen to their constituents’ concerns. There is no admission charge and the public is encouraged to attend. For further information, call the League of Women Voters at 781-861-0123.

A correction: Town Hall and Cary Hall are not the same building. Cary Hall, where the event will be held, is at 1605 Massachusetts Avenue, the large building with the semi-circular drive in front. Town Hall happens to be next door.
