The Democratic National Committee and Barack Obama announced that our national Democratic Party platform would be open to input from Democrats across the country back in early July.
I’m not sure how I missed this, but soon after the Dem’s announcement, the Republican National Committee launched a similar watered down online-only version. What next, will they copy Obama’s idea to text message and email who his running mate will be?
Now I actually think this is a good thing. I’m all for user input (hence all my posts on Kerry dodging debates/forums), but it seems the RNC and McCain are always behind the ball. Do they have any original ideas of their own?
Rather, do they have any good original ideas of their own? Paying people prizes to spew talking points I don’t consider one.

Or as Mr Lynne replied to a post one day…

p>But Obama has copied McCain too. I think McCain went with the first negative ad and BO “copied” him.. see.

p>Although, when I tried to find out for sure who went negative first, all I could find were subjective answers with no comclusions.

Hence why I said good original ideas;)
