Hello BMGers —
With just a few weeks left until the Democratic Primary Election Day (September 16th), I’d like to ask for your help.
I know there’s been a lot of discussion on BMG this week about the polling numbers my campaign just released. Everyone on the campaign was excited to see us ahead, of course. It’s nice to see the results of all this hard work!
But in truth, the poll just confirmed what we’ve been seeing on the doors every day as we’ve knocked our way through the district: the voters of the Second Suffolk are looking for a change. Senator Wilkerson may be receiving the vast majority of the institutional support from elected officials and advocacy organizations — as incumbents usually do — but luckily for us, the voters get to make up their own minds.
But translating this poll into a win on Primary Day means we have a lot more work to do. If you live in the district, I’d like to respectfully ask for your vote. Check out our website to learn more about my background and ideas for the district, and please contact me (info listed below) anytime with your thoughts and questions.
For those of you who are already supporters, I want to ask for your active help. We’re running a good ol’ fashioned grassroots campaign, taking our message of change to the voters at their doors and on the phones.
Please consider spending some time on the campaign with us in the next few weeks. We go door-to-door every night and on weekends, and we’re always looking for new people to join us. There are also opportunities for phonebanking and data entry in the office.
Thanks so much for your consideration and support.
Saludos,
Sonia Chang-Diaz

and that you would propose if you are elected? Do you think businesses, insurers, pharmaceutical companies, and other members of the medical supply chain are doing their fair share for the principle of universal health care? Do you think we already have the ideal health care system in Massachusetts? Is insurance as affordable as it could be, and if not, can the state do anything to make it more affordable?
I’ve heard that you taught in the Boston Public Schools. What did you think of it? Why did you quit?
How do you think the state should approach the troubles of out transportation agencies, the MTA and the MBTA? Should the state government bail out their debt?
Anything else that should convince fence-sitters in Roxbury, J.P. and the South End to vote for you?

I support your candidacy against the corrupt incumbent but get a US flag!
