WHY sex scandals matter in the US of A: Blog “atlanticfreepress” asks the real question

August 18, 2008 By AmberPaw

Here is a link to an intriguing post:

http://www.atlanticfreepress.c…

Personally, I don’t mind the sex as much as the whining and lying – I would prefer a guy or gal who did the randy to just say “yeah, so what” and then get on with business.

More importantly – WHO is it on the national level facing the issue of dealing with the increasing concentration of wealth in a very few hands – dozens more millionaries and thousands more homeless – this is not acceptable in America!  If we are going to remain a democracy in more than name only THIS must be dealt with.

Lying at the highest levels of government to chain all of us into an unjust war and trillions of debt for our children – THIS must be dealt with.

The end of the Bill of Rights and civil liberty as you and I grew up knowing them, so that it is routine for our children and grandchldren to not just assume – but KNOW their government is spying on them.  THIS is intolerable.

Putin and Russia are playing hardball.  They know that the USA has over-extended and nearly bankrupted itself as Russia once did in Afganistan.  The next president needs brass balls and a steady hand – not to mention non-ideologically based reality contact [as does congress].  Who in public life is facing up to this reality?

WHO on the national and state level is tackling these tough issues and the “military/industrial/pharmaceutical complex”?  THAT is what I am looking for.
