In next week’s Democratic Primary, the only candidate listed for Middlesex County Register of Probate is John Buonomo, who was recently arrested for stealing money from the County offices vending machines.
Couldn’t someone volunteer to be a write-in candidate for this sparsely voted election?
Please share widely!

I think our best option is to vote for Buonomo, then select a replacement in a fair and open special election.
david says
regardless of who is or is not running against him.
pablo says
Buonomo is the change candidate.

Seems like a waste of money if it can be avoided.
demredsox says
That was something like $250,000, but I can’t source that.
<
p>However, I think that there are no special elections for probate. The guv appoints and we vote in ’10.

Thomas Concannon, discussed here. But it’s a tough row to hoe.
mikberg says
So is Thomas Concannon a reasonable choice to write in?
Is he progressive?
z says
Editors- I think you should make some sort of endorsement or mention on the ‘Races to Watch’ before the primary to encourage people to write in Concannon
