His name isn’t Joe – it is Samuel Wurzelbacher – and he isn’t a plumber, yet!

Turns out that Samuel Wurzelbacher went to an Obama event because the McCain campaign asked him to and gave him talking points.  He also identified himself as “Joe” when his name is Samuel, and called himself a plumber, when he is not a licensed or journeyman plumber though Samuel a/k/a Joe works for a plumber.  Where I come from, Detroit, Michigan, we call this being a “shill”.   For a definition of shill:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S…  

Although Wurzelbacher a/k/a “Joe the Plumber” represented himself as being in a position to buy his bosses business, it turns out Wurzelbacher never earned more than $40k in his life, has no savings, owes back taxes and would benefit from Barack Obama’s plan.

In fact the “Joe the Plumber” video used by McCain was sheer fiction, on a level with 60s street theater.

Once reporters started surrounding Wurzelbacher and checking out the shtick spun by him, it was revealed there was no truth in what “Joe/Samuel Wurzelbacher” told Obama at all.  See:  http://www.wandtv.com/Global/s…

On the other hand, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher turned out to be charismatic on the television, well spoken, and fast on his feet!  Who knows, maybe “Joe the plumber” will joint Matt Damon in making action movies and find his true calling.

One thing is for sure – Wurzelbacher is a talented actor.  However, he is no plumber held back by Obama’s plan – not possible, not even close.
