A group of us, including Jeff Santos, are still working on returning Progressive Talk Radio to the local airwaves permanently. For more information, see our website: http;//www.bostonprogressivetalk.net

I really wish we could get progressive talk back. I understand WRKO isn’t doing too well. Maybe if they appealed to their local audience, who consistently vote Democratic in every election, the station would have enough ad revenues to survive. Attempting to appeak to the less than 12% who vote Republican is a bad business move.

We are actively working to get back on the air!
And thanks for posting the Paul Weyrich quote… I know Thom Hartmann has
been exposing it for some time and recently Randi Rhodes has been doing the same. BTW, do you know if there is posted audio of it anywhere other than on Thom’s or Randi’s past shows?

I was impressed by both the guests and the host. Very enjoyable. I thought it was a good show for listeners in the Boston area, especially those used to public radio. It was as stimulating as the best of public radio, but the guests and host were free to say some things that they couldn’t have said on public radio without someone injecting some pseudo-balance.

Once a relatively proud sports-talk station, now left to sell brokered time slots to anybody and everybody.  I guess WEEI Conquers All! đŸ˜‰
