This is why I think Bush and his cabinet should resign

November 10, 2008 By woburndem

Hank Paulson is little more then a fox, a pirate, a frat boy, a scoundrel like his counter parts responsible for the collapse of the financial sector and should be removed as Treasury Secretary immediately. His spending of the first $250 Billion of the $700 Billion bailout is little more then an extension of Republican doctrine of the rich get richer and the taxpayer sees his/her coming 10 generations saddled with the bill. I firmly believed you could not get blood out of a stone but the bush administration has found a way to bleed us out further. Now why couldn’t they turn this new technology to do something good in the world?

I have run out of patience with this administration. January 20th seems just to far off

As Usual Just my opinions please read for your self

I just read the changes to the law and if this is a bad thing for the economy or a “windfall” for the banks, can’t we change it? Doesn’t the Democratically controlled Senate and House have the votes to simply reverse this rule change?

p>Maybe while they are at it, they could remove all the pork that was added to the bailout bill which also was a windfall for many at a time when pennies counted and they were giving away an extra $150 Billion of pork. That is why we need the current Congress to resign!!

A majority of Democrats voted for this and the President favors it so that’s the ballgame, at least for now.  This is not a parliamentary system so neither Congress nor the Administration should resign over policy.  The President and his Cabinet will be gone soon enough.
