pension abuse

February 11, 2009 By babu

We now read about former state senator Brennan’s (Malden) intention to double the bill to his state and city taxpayers for the indefinite future through bizarre pensions shenanigans.

How about a specific web site to list the Bulgers and Brennans that details their doings. Let them know that their neighbors, and anyone else who cares to look, will be aware of what they’ve done. Perhaps spending our money will be a little less pleasant for them.

Look for the yellow drop-down list, and there you will find all the facts about who is getting how much money in pensions and pay.

That would be great if we were assuming everyone who collects a pension is scamming the system.

This site only shows who is getting what.  It is a matter of public domain, since all of these people were on either local or state payrolls at one time.  In fact, I think that the average state pensioner is only collecting in the low twenties—but hacks and their relatives (if you can pick them out) are getting a heck of a lot more.
