Evergreen Solar company

November 6, 2009 By ray-m

With the news that Evergreen is moving it’s assembly plant to China after stabbing the taxpayers in the back, by accepting millions of dollars in subsidies.  Why wasn’t there stipulation in that contract once they received the money to keep them from fleeing the country for lower wages.

What in the name of time is going on at the Attorney General’s ofice with what’s her name? Didn’t the attorneys at the AG’s ofice give the governor any advice as to legal language to be incorporated into the agrement with Evergreen to protect the commonwealth’s investment?
    God help us!

As part of the deal with the state, Evergreen pledged to create 350 jobs, and the company said it will keep those manufacturing jobs here.

It’s not “moving its assembly plant to China,” It’s building another one there.
