Watching him squirm on this in a primary is going to be enjoyable. On the other hand, its been way too easy to underestimate the cognitive dissonance that the conservative GOP is willing to live with in pursuit of power, so maybe this will just be another thing to overlook, like the myth of GOP fiscal responsibility and the evils of regulation in financial markets.
