Tim Murray gets the DCU Center revved up

June 7, 2010 By akloftus

If you have some time, I highly suggest you check out Tim Murray’s speech to the 2010 MassDems convention in Worcester over the weekend.

The LG threw plenty of red meat to the party faithful, and took Republican Charles Baker to task on pretty much everything from the Big Dig, to his role as a health insurance executive, to his tacit collusion with the RGA. Enjoy.

(Full Disclosure: I work for Lt. Gov. Tim Murray’s Committee)

I just continue to be impressed with our Lieutenant Governor. He is accessible and engaging and works tirelessly! Great speech from a great leader for our Commonwealth!

Murray is right…Charlie Baker cannot stand up to the RGA now just as he won’t be able to stand up to the insurance industry if elected…he’s on THEIR side.
Patrick and Murray are on OUR side. Murray makes a strong case for whay has actually been accomplished over the last 4 years.

p>The problem for the GOP is that their ticket has not reached expectations by any measure. It’s flat and dull with not much new to offer other than tired rhetoric.

    <

p>Dems have good reason to be optimistic…lead the charge Tim!

Deval Patrick’s campaign in 2006 emphasized how making progress on anything in state government was going to require difficult decisions. Given his campaign of pandering and prevarication, it really is a question as to whether Charlie Baker stands for anything other than political expediency.
