Baker: a Hudak victory would be “a good thing, not a bad thing”

August 16, 2010 By David

Well, looks like Charlie Baker doesn’t think Bill Hudak is such a bad guy after all.  On WRKO this morning, Tom Finneran asked Baker about the Hudak brouhaha (failing to mention, unfortunately, Hudak’s penchant for creative lawn signage).  Baker hemmed and hawed a bit, about how he goes to lots of fundraisers and all, but finally announced that he was “hoping” for a lot of “change” in both the state and federal legislatures, and that this “change” would be “a good thing, not a bad thing.”  He never comes right out and says he endorses Hudak, but the context was pretty clearly Hudak’s run for Congress, so it’s hard to see how Baker, having said what he said, would nonetheless not want to see Bill Hudak unseat John Tierney.

Here’s the audio (full interview is here).  You be the judge.

Why hasn’t Baker come out and say that he does not support Hudak or his extremist views.

He is a birther, he has lawnsigns with Obama in an Osama turban with Osama’s beard, and he is a liar, both about illegal immigrants getting health care, health care reform subsidizing abortion, and about his campaign contributions beating Tierney’s since most of his money comes from loans he gave to himself. Not what the 7th needs, and they got a fine rep in Tierney, one of the few class acts left in MA politics.

      7th is Markey.

I’m always mixing them up. Whats weird is that Markey’s extends to the beginnings of the North Shore like Revere and Winthrop while Tierney’s gets odd chunks of Middlesex like Burlington.

Although it's receiving more national than local coverage as local press is too busy covering violent Black/brown BPS kids. Still, I wonder if a Black Dorchester mom MURDERED her 3 kids, would she receive such sympathetic coverage, postpartum depression or not—doubtful! #BOSpoli

Seriously, do you really think the living rooms of John Kerry's 180ft yacht, and Bill Gates' 175ft yacht, are a frigid 48°F tonight like your room, and they are shivering under electric blankets trying to stay warm???
