Suffolk has Patrick up 7. State House News has Patrick up 3. Rasmussen has Patrick up 2. UPDATE: And Western New England College has Patrick up 5.
The message really couldn’t be much clearer. Patrick is ahead and should win – he has been ahead in every single independent poll published in this cycle.
But turnout is everything. Everything. A couple of points worth of extra energy on the other side could swing the election.
Really, nothing else matters now. The issues, the charges and countercharges, that’s mostly done now. This weekend, Monday, and of course Tuesday are all about getting the supporters to vote. We know there are enough to win. We just have to make sure they all show up.
Do what you can. Do it now.

The Republicans are calling us out.

p>The media is calling us out.
<
p>By “enthusiasm gap”, they are DARING you to go to the polls on Tuesday. I say we give them just what they’re asking for.
<
p>ITS NOT ENOUGH FOR JUST YOU TO VOTE. TALK TO YOUR NEIGHBORS, FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS. TELL THEM WHY YOU’RE VOTING AND TELL THEM WHY YOU’RE VOTING DEMOCRAT.

Rasmussen may as well be Faux News, it is so biased.

… also ‘correct’ near the date of the actual vote the pole is based on.

When it wants to push a narrative. My warning is it doesn’t always want to do that, as Mr. Lynne suggests above.

if the bias is consistent (say, R+4) then the poll contains the same information as a poll with zero bias. You’ve just got to adjust.
<
p>The problem: adjustments aren’t being made, and Ras floods the zone with more polls than anyone else, so they help set the narrative.

I’m very heartened by the number of volunteers who have turned out in Berkshire County. We will be canvassing and calling for the next 4 days!

p>Yes, all the indications are that we are going to win this one (at least here in the Bay State), but as always, we are taking nothing for granted.

In our town the League of Women Voters always has a ride coordinator, and lines up shifts of drivers for folks who need rides in order to vote, or cannot drive, etc. as we have 21 precincts and something like 10-12 polling places. I know some towns have only one or two polling places. Anyway, so my spouse is one of the drivers in the schedule. It seems to me it would make sense for local Democratic Town Committees to offer rides. Is that one of the questions asked on the GOTV scripts?

Deval Patrick and Tim Murray were in Worcester tonight for the Dem unity rally, among a number of other Dems. Lots of great speeches and calls to action, although obviously Deval’s was the best by far.

p>I’ll be busting my ass over the next four days. I hope you will too. We have to focus our eye on a lot of balls, because we need the entire ticket to make the next four years into what we want them to be.

p>Let’s hope for the best, and work for it!
