DiMASI: Former Patrick administration budget chief Leslie Kirwan testified yesterday that former House Speaker Sal DiMasi, on trial for corruption, pushed for a contract with a software company (WBUR) that was granted by the administration in the hopes of winning political points with the House. (Globe) There’s no court today, so use the time to catch up before tomorrow’s blockbuster witness: Gov. Deval Patrick. If anyone wants to tailgate in the parking lot of the Moakley courthouse tomorrow morning, let me know.
