Boston’s municipal elections are tomorrow.
350,000 registered voters in a city of 600,000.
Politicians actually do read things like voter turn out etc. So if your district does not have a high voter turnout it will affect the resources you are allocated.

to vote. He will give himself an early birthday gift by doing so. I could not treat him to Felix G. Arroyo’s election eve event in Jamaica Plain earlier tonight (just a hike away from where last week I met district councilor Matthew O’Malley in a flash). O’Malley shared his presence with us in Canary Square (where I downed an Arborway cocktail while I reacquainted with Jim formerly of New Mexico, a pharmaceutical designer of chemical platforms). Jim and I met in 2009 in Rhythm & Muse, which is now Tres Gatos, still run by Dave, expanded this time with a restaurant. I picked up my months-old order of Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers. Lasers is too damn preachy an album. Lupe, however, exhibits creative skills. I am turned off, however, by his lack of sexual lyrical content. Chuck D of Public Enemy already had well developed the craft of non-carnal rap. LASERS topped album charts right when it was launched but then fell down quick like the chicken Alice Cooper chucked back to his audience in one of his shows. Lupe has quite a following, but a smaller one than either our American President Barack H. Obama II or Bill O’Reilly (both people Lupe brags he’s himself cleaner and better than). Lupe can reach millions of people, but I know he does not have the resolve to secure better policy of our USA by means of legislation and cabinet and administrative appointments. I pray that fellow Boston-born Felix G. Arroyo wins one of the four councilor-at-large seats. I admire community organizers.

cast bullets for Felix and Ayanna. Am anxiously waiting for my next chance to vote against Tommy. Lord, but that slavish article in this morning’s Globe wrecked my breakfast!
