It appears Scott Brown just cannot leave the Elizabeth Warren heritage issue alone. On Friday a press release appeared on Brown’s website accusing Warren of lying to voters about her heritage
Elizabeth Warren Mislead voters about false Native American claims.
Also, he release a TV commercial titled “She got caught” which says that Elizabeth Warren has been caught.

is astounding. I was waiting for someone at BMG to pick it up, because I was too busy to post today, but it’s really amazing how many of the accusations of lies made in the ad really apply to what Scott Brown is doing.
“Got caught?” Well, Scotto said on the live debate that he could tell Liz didn’t have Native American heritage because of the color of her skin, then said he didn’t say that after the press came knocking. Check.
“Going deeper and deeper into the whole.” Well, after the recent calling-out of his campaign by prominent native america organizations and members — and the youtube video of his staff being blatantly racist (while he didn’t punish a single one of them or apologize for them) — he’s really the only one who’s been going deeper and deeper into this, even as it blows up in his face. Check.
“You need to come clean when you’re caught.” Come on, Scott, we’re waiting. Check.
“I think it should effect a lot of voters and how they feel about…” Brown. It sure looks like that’s happening. Thank the gods.
My mother has NEVER been as pissed off and passionate about her displeasure of a politician before, as she is now, and is far from the political junkie and passionate activist that her son is… Most days, politics doesn’t even register to her, as she prefers watching Nancy Grace and American Idol to any of the news shows. So, if she’s any indication, I’m going CHECK.
“We already have enough politicians in Washington who will say anything. We don’t need one more.” Well, that’s obvious. Check, check, check, check, check.
That this guy wants to make truth an issue is just weird.
Go for the character assassination in any way possible (even better when you make shit up) and go after strengths (which is why they are lying and misleading about her law work).
Seems to me that it was Scottie who got caught.. allowing the racist war whoops. It happened in Chatham at a private function and he totally ignored it because he thought no one would know. In Neponset, there was more attention and Scott’s people were filmed. Shame on him and his hooligans.
Donald Green says
Scott Brown seems not to be aware of how human genetics works. He seems to leave aside how gene pools are mixed and the resultant offspring no longer have any appearance of where they came from. This makes him anti-science. In assessing his own childhood he connected his own heritage to people so distant to himself it strained credulity. In the end though this heritage only matters for the stories of understanding your background. It has no bearing on what you will accomplish in life. Being a Native American in the 1990s imposed no advantage on your future but what achievements you show in your field of expertise certainly does. So Scott Brown also is not where he is today by his heritage or sadly his achievements. He was lucky and was willing to deceive to gain votes. There is ample evidence that Elizabeth Warren has earned every accolade bestowed on her in spite of major obstacles in her life. It took prodigious work. It is more than chutzpah on Scott Brown’s part to call this into question. He is calling a prestigious professor, teacher, author, and researcher a liar. People should understand just who Scott Brown is. He evidently harbors a deep nastiness probably bubbling up from his troubled childhood. He has arrived to a point in life so to speak and for that he gets some credit. However it is not as far as he thinks. His ads rub shoulders with nothing he personally experienced. Active combat, gender issues in his family, health problems, roadblocks to getting educated. Now his present actions add a black mark to everything that came his way.
