This evening, at Carrie Nation in Boston from 6-8PM, I invite you to join with progressive leaders and legislators from across the Commonwealth in support of my campaign. I encourage you to come and chat about the race and your hopes for the state Senate with me and your fellow progressives. The host committee for the event is listed below.
I’ve been backed by my colleagues and endorsed by MassAlliance and MassEquality because I have the strongest progressive record in this race. I am Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Public Health and the founder of the Prevention for Health Caucus. I am the lead sponsor on legislation in the House to mandate paid sick leave and to move to single-payer healthcare. I have been a leader of the revitalized Progressive Caucus, and have used my time in the legislature to fight for progressive issues. You can learn more about my record and my vision at my website: www.electjasonlewis.com.
I hope you will join us tonight and help elect another Progressive Democrat to the Senate. Primary Election day is 4 weeks from today!

Great to see such an impressive variety of progressive champions (both organizations and individuals) rallying around Jason’s campaign. The website also indicates the backing of NARAL-MA and SEIU 509, two more to add to the long list above. I’ll be checking this out tonight, hope to see many of you there as well!

It would be great to get your position on some of the issues raised in this thread (like last April’s revenue/transportation vote, in-state tuition for undocumented MA residents, public housing, EBT).
