BMG folks, you may be interested in Paul Barrett’s new book, Law of the Jungl, a fast-paced and entertaining look (think A Civil Action) of the massive battle between Steven Donziger, lawyer for residents of Ecuador’s Oriente province, and Chevron and its predecessor, Texaco. I don’t agree with Barrett’s take on everything, but it’s an important book that raises big questions about seeking justice for the global poor against big US corporations.
