I am thankful to be back in the Bay State with family to ring in Christmas and the new year. Hope everyone has a safe and festive time! I expect some Star Wars screenings will be in the offing, so may the force be with you as well!

Happy Birthday to Rod Serling, he would have been 91 this year.
Also, on Christmas:
1) The “Fellowship of the Ring” leaves Rivendell on their quest to Mt. Doom.
2) W.C. Fields passes away on 12/25/46.

Simply Googling “famous Christmas birthdays” will yield several sites with lists of such. Of course, one person in particular was most certainly not born on December 25th, but Emperor Constantine said so, thus let it be written and let it be done!:)

I didn’t know about it being Issac Newton’s birthday today also. I think this is a bit of trivia that will take up permanent residence in my much addled mind.

Merry Xmas to all! I do love a white Christmas, but a white week after Christmas will do.
Many pro-environment friends who mock conservatives for saying that a cold October disproves global warming are now posting info about this warm week as proof of climate control. Yeesh.
