September 29, 2020 By jconway 5 Comments

Honestly no other comment. I’ve judged high schoolers and drunk college students who have done a better job sticking to the facts, the topic at hand, their arguments, and being civil toward their opponents. Biden won by default, as he has … [Read more...]

CD4 Voters Should Give Jake Auchincloss a Chance

September 16, 2020 By jconway 9 Comments

Disclosure: Jake is a friend of mine, but I did not do any work for the campaign and I do not live in the 4th.  I am a little dismayed by some of the sour grapes I am seeing from progressives regarding the Jake Auchincloss win in the CD4 … [Read more...]

Reviving the Audacity of Hope

August 19, 2020 By jconway 8 Comments

I cannot believe this speech was 16 years ago. It has been half a lifetime for me since I volunteered at the 2004 convention in Boston. While I did not get to see the speech in person, I did wave to then State Senator Obama outside the … [Read more...]

Why Biden Will Win

August 16, 2020 By jconway 37 Comments

Four years ago, Paul Simmons and I were ahead of the curve predicting Hillary having trouble holding down MI, PA, and WI. Sadly, our predictions came true. Fortunately, the Biden/Harris ticket is going to win back these states. This is … [Read more...]

August 14, 2020 By jconway 3 Comments

Senator Harris gave a brilliant speech yesterday asserting that a pluralistic patriotism is still possible in modern America. Her speech was grounded in the core values of this country, starting with her stirring defense of the Constitution … [Read more...]

The climate leaders that have updated their emission pledges (NDCs) are on track to reduce GHG emissions 0.5% from 2010 to 2030.

According to SR15, 1.5°C requires a 45% drop in CO₂ emissions over that period (25% for <2°C).

These are climate leaders!
