Massachusetts now has a commitment to 5600MW of wind power, equal to nearly 187 Block Island projects.

Better write those contracts pretty pretty tight.

David Abel@davabel

The money National Grid earns from a transmission line for the nation's first offshore wind farm is “appalling,” “unconscionable,” and amounts to “ripping off ratepayers,” RI regulators say.

A cautionary tale as we ramp up offshore wind power. #mapoli

Dear @BostonPatrolmen - What are we supposed to think?

What conclusion shall we come to about your integrity? Your transparency? About your views on police accountability? Your dedication to “protect and serve”?

What is left?

Just a reminder: A lot of elected officials and candidates have accepted donations from this union and have not pledged to return the money or stop accepting donations from this union in the future.

They don’t deserve your trust and they don’t deserve your vote. #bospoli https://twitter.com/BostonGlobe/status/1381178472047984640

Every time we hear about methane the story gets a little worse, which means the truth will be a lot worse, which is why the industry is pushing hard on natgas now. Recently they’ve taken to calling it “low carbon gas” to keep the focus on CO2. https://twitter.com/GlobalEcoGuy/status/1380914220150181897

Dr. Jonathan Foley@GlobalEcoGuy

Methane has risen by *over 150%* and is accelerating.

For reference, CO2 has risen 50%.

We need to *dramatically* reduce methane emissions to have a chance of keeping the planet below 1.5-2 C. This includes methane from animals, rice, landfills, and the energy industry. https://twitter.com/robbie_andrew/status/1380788370771750913

Methane is increasing at a rate 3 x more than CO2 and will cause 80 x more warming in the next 20 years! Our children are depending on us to act.

We need all-electric buildings
gas transition plans, and
to stop dirty energy infrustructure.
