Mansfield Republicans, picking up on Romney’s efforts to use religious extremism for political advantage, have made it clear that non-Christians are not welcome at their holiday party this year. "Do you insist on saying "Merry Christmas"; instead of "HappyHolidays"? If you answered "yes" to those questions, you are invited tothe Mansfield Republican Town Committee’s Annual Christmas Party," said a recentannouncement by the Committee in the Mansfield News, according to the newspaper. Romney made a special priority of the Mansfield Senate race this year, worked closely with the Mansfield Republican Town Committee, and blessed the town with a high profile campaign stop on Election Day.
