Thinking… hard… can’t place where I’ve heard this before …
NPR’s Juan Williams had a report Friday on Tim Pawlenty, Gov. MN, who is having to moderate his approach after aggressively targeting Democrats and losing big (ceding a 30-seat House majority!) in midterm elections. The governor is dead-set against raising any taxes and has put forth a budget that will involve cuts in education.
(And attention all you Bay State feverish Framesters: Juan Williams refers to education as a "motherhood and apple pie" issue in Minnesota. That’s good stuff. I’m a Norman Rockwell Democrat, after all.)

Reminds me what a pathetic campaign John Kerry ran, when Democrats picked up seats in many state legislatures but he still managed to lose in the prime time show.
