Remember all that hoopla a few weeks back about the special elections, the disenfranchised BU students, and all the rest of it? Well, those were just the primaries. The elections that will actually determine who gets a new job on Beacon Hill are TODAY, and if you live in the Suffolk 12th (Dorchester, Roxbury, Mattapan, Milton), Suffolk 18th (Allston, Brighton, Brookline), or Berkshire 3rd (Pittsfield), you should take a few minutes to stop by your polling place.

Just to clarify the above:Don’t forget that the districts are all split, so merely living in a town listed above doesn’t mean you’re voting today. For example, only Brookline Pct 1 can vote for Suffolk 18.

Righto. If you have any question about which precinct you’re in and where you should vote, click here.

Why does it always have to be such terrible weather on election days?? In spite of the unexpected April Fool’s snow shower in Boston, Linda Dorcena Forry was elected as the newest State Representative for the 12th Suffolk by over 1,000 votes. That’s remarkable for an uncontested special election! Congratulations Linda and we look forward to working with you.
