Following on our post of earlier today, we’re pleased to see yet another entrant into the ever-more-crowded field of lefty blogs covering local politics in this bluest of blue states. Lynne at "Left in Lowell" will be covering events and politics in Lowell, one of our most interesting cities. We’re looking forward to some good reading.
Oh – and if you were wondering why her blog, which is approximately ten hours old, already looks so much better than ours, it’s because her day job is in graphic and web design. Maybe she can give us some design pointers!
Please share widely!

Thanks for the plug! And hey, that was what the blog looked like out of the box, installed…I can’t take credit for that. LOLGive me a couple weeks, it’ll look much more customized. But first, I need to take a trip around Lowell for some photos and stuff…I’d like to really show off the town, which has some awesome historical sites and parks. That is, when it stops being gray and raining! (What is up with three weekends in a row of bad weather?)

How about some commentary on the MA Dem Convention, going on right now at the Tsongas Center?!

Unfortunately, our Democractic party is inept and didn’t process my Youth Delegate form, so I’m not there today. :(I tried to get in, honest I did! I do have friends who are delegates though, so I want to get a write up from them.

I just now got home from Lowell, and I’ll have a full run-down later. Good stuff today, by and large. I was surprised at how many folks I recognized.BTW, I met Steve (sco) from .08 and his wife — very very nice folks.

Why thank you. I’m just glad that I got a chance to talk to you after you were whisked away the first time I recognized you.I’m looking forward to reading your thoughts on the convention.
charley-on-the-mta says
Yeah, sorry about that. The whisking turned out not to be necessary. How did you recognize me? I thought we’re all faceless on the ‘net.
sco says
How did I recognize you? Well, you see, I’m very perceptive and have analyzed your writings to come up with how you should look. Sort of like phrenology in reverse, where I use your personality traits to devine the shape of your head. I’m proud to say that I was spot on, right down to the hair color.Or, maybe I just read your name tag. Believe whichever you’d like to be true đŸ˜‰
charley-on-the-mta says
Well, either your eyesight or reverse-phrenology is quite amazing.Nice to meet you in any event.
