Don’t forget: the special election to fill Charlie Shannon’s Senate seat is tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 27. Democrat Pat Jehlen is taking on "Republican" Bill White.

How about that sneaky little item by the Somerville News which made its way into the Herald Saturday.A ploy, to keep the Jehlen people home. becue White and his people people have been working harder and sending out more mail then Jehlen and her workers.
Also tomorrow: Preliminary elections for Boston City Council. District councilor races only have preliminaries if there are more than two candidates running, which is not the case in most. However, all of Boston votes in the preliminary for City Council At-Large, to narrow the field down to eight candidates (four of whom will be elected on November 8th)
White has people? We got called by the Jehlen campaign to remind us of the election on Tuesday. We told them we’d be sure to vote. Some of the posters on the Somerville news site will be crying in their beer as they get another ass-whupping.
Makes you feel like a big person, doesn’t it Brittain.
You have no idea.
Troll, what Herald piece are you referring to? I couldn’t find anything searching their site.
Saturday, I almost missed it.Jeadline has the word “Jehlen” in it and then some cliche. It is a re-print from Heald’s sister paper ihn Somerville. Editor’s note said ‘couldn’t have said it better ourselves’.Started off by saying that Jehlen is going to win but she should be more like Bill White, thenk kicked the livin crap out of her.
It was a reprinted editorial from the Somerville Journal, not the Somerville News.
Wow, looks like White has made it a race and may end up winning, if the Somerville News is to be believed. My coworkers who voted in the primary didn’t vote today. One had Red Sox tickets. Looks like Pat got about 80% of her primary voters, and the other Democrats stayed home or voted for White. This could be very interesting.
