Regressives continue to play dodge ball with responsibility for their Administration’s grotesque failures in the Southeast. Rush Limbaugh was whining about high gasoline prices. Free Republic was whining about how few countries are interested in helping the U.S. Bill O’Reilly was continuing to flog the racism distraction.
Reality, however, undermines even the best spin doctors. "Where’s the beef," demanded the mayor of New Orleans as massive explosions rocked the riverfront, armed gangs controlled portions of the city, and refugees were raped, beaten and robbed.
The press and the blogosphere need to keep the focus of attention where it should be: aid for the victims in New Orleans, and accountability for regressive leaders who sent our money and our troops to Iraq instead of Louisiana.
