FEMA, the federal agency coordinating relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina, has helpfully posted several charities to which those who want to donate should consider directing their funds. Their suggestions for where to send cash are: the Red Cross, America’s Second Harvest, Operation Blessing, the Humane Society, and UJA.
Who was that third one again?
Oh, Operation Blessing (here’s their highly inclusive "statement of faith"). That’s Pat Robertson’s group. Yeah, that Pat Robertson.
