So, it’s said that attending Saturday’s BlogLeft gathering in Worcester will be Worcester mayor and Lieutenant Governor candidate Tim Murray, and Senator and Middlesex County DA candidate Jarrett Barrios. A number of the bloggers will be meeting these candidates.
What would you want us ask the candidates?
UPDATE: Also Sec. of State candidate John Bonifaz.
Please share widely!
I spoke with him today, I think he’ll be there in the morning (don’t quote me on that, my head is spinning from City Council Blogging).
He’ll be there, you just don’t know when?
I did, once. My memory is like swiss cheese on a GOOD day, and today was no good day. LOL. But I’m pretty sure it was in the am.

But yes, he was planning on coming.
Did you tell him no stump speeches? (That was you that told the honorable mayor of Worcester that very thing, right?) Hee!
Yes, I don’t want this to turn into a big political event, just an informal meet and greet. But since most of the candidates will be there in the checkin period of the morning, there won’t be much of an opportunity for stump speeches to the whole group, which is why I half-jokingly said that to Tim – he’s the only one who gets a captive audience because he’s doing the greeting as mayor of Worcester, and I didn’t want it to be unfair to the other candidates. đŸ™‚
Nice guest list. I’m looking forward to hearing from Mr. Bonifaz. He is the talk just about every local mailing list I’m on.
I think it is pretty cool that these pols want to come for a meet and greet with bloggers. I think this shows not only the “power” of bloggers in general as well as reflects well on the great slate of statewide and local bloggers here in Mass. Right on!
