Tom Ball at Kos has posted a link to the video and a transcript of last night’s David Letterman show on which Letterman stopped being a comedian for long enough to lay into Bill O’Reilly about Iraq. Good for Letterman. As Ball points out, for a professional comedian to do something like that takes guts – it’s a career risk because it makes him a lot more controversial than the network, the sponsors, and a big chunk of his audience want him to be.
Go Dave. Can’t wait to see what he does tonight.
