Wanted: Man or woman, child, chimpanzee capable of matching a name associated with a news story with a data base of pictures of men or women in elective office. No prior experience needed, clearly NO knowledge of politics or its players required. Please respond ASAP to the Boston Globe or the Boston Herald.
How is it possible, in the Hub of the Universe, the home of politics that the Globe and the Herald in the space of a week could make the following mistakes: The Globe today ran four pictures of potential running mates for Tom Reilly. Now not to be overly critical, they did get three correct, but mistake Senator Mark Montigny for, I think, Rep. Peter Katougian. And the Herald, in a piece on Congressman Stephen Lynch ran a picture of, I’m not sure, but I know Congressman Lynch, Congressman Lynch is a friend of mine, etc… I know there is a singer of some sort with the same name, and maybe it was a pic of him, maybe not, but I ask you, unless our elected officials have been accepted into the witness protection program, can’t we show the real person?
