The AP reports via the Globe: “Audubon society supports Cape wind farm. The Massachusetts Audubon Society has given preliminary support to a proposed wind farm in Nantucket Sound after studies allayed concerns that the farm’s turbine blades would cause significant harm to birds.” Predictable outrage “You can build a wind mill in my back yard. Just get your damn wind mills out of our Sound” from some.

the Danish studies done at their off shore wind farms ( some of which have been in place for 20 years) have shown that the birds fly around the turbines, only an occasional bird gets into the grid.
