Grover Norquist famously said once that he’d like to get government “down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.” Norquist is from Massachusetts and his anti-tax ideas have strong sway here, as I see evidenced by the pain expressed at a municipal aid conference held in Northampton on Saturday.
In general, I refrain from using my membership at BlueMassGroup merely to promote my professional work, but this is an issue that I think has statewide relevance and I submit it as a member of BMG’s western delegation.
