I don’t know as I like the headline – “Another Private Equity Governor” – but the article’s Romney comparison ends at the fact that they were/are both venture capitalists. The specifics about how Gabrieli’s career applies to his candidacy are positive: he would try to steer huge amounts of capital (in pension funds and university endowments) to in-state investment.
