According to both the Herald and the Somerville News, Anthony Galluccio has dropped out of the race for the State Senate seat currently held by Jarrett Barrios.
When Congressman Mike Capuano met with Progressive Democrats of Somerville on May 8, someone asked him about this race. Capuano advised PDS to just wait and take no immediate action, implying that something important was about to happen. Apparently this was it.
