I came by here to post a note about another State Senate candidate in my District and I ran full bore into a hot and heavy discussion that concerns one of our local Deval Patrick volunteers.
“Joel M” has jumped in with both feet and is just one of the dedicated workers we have out here in the Far West. As he says in his video, he has never worked on a political campaign before, but boy is he a fast learner!
This is the power that Patrick has, to reach out to the cynical and unengaged voters who have been sitting out recent elections. As I’ve said here before, this is only one of the reasons I’m supporting him. It’s an important one, and “Joel M” is but one of many pieces of evidence of how voters are becoming engaged again after being inspired by DLP and the people who are working on this campaign. Yes, it’s only one of the reasons Patrick will make a great Governor, and it’s also one of the reasons you can throw out the tired old saws about left and right and who has the cities, etc. etc.
But, sorry, I just wanted to tell you about Helen Sharron, candidate for State Senate, and got a little sidetracked.
