…ROBOTS!
The Robots have manned the phones to spread Gabrieli’s message.
Today I got the call, and it was literally a wake-up call (it woke me up just as I started a much-needed nap). There was no reasoning with this caller. I told him I needed to sleep but he never deviated from his message! Nothing could make him stop!
Most chilling of all: the robot could imitate Gabrieli’s voice perfectly!
The question now is:
Just what has Gabrieli promised the robots in return for their support?
Please share widely!
I think we can all use some humor these days. đŸ™‚

Remember, it’s only 17 more days of robo-calls and direct mailings. y-a-y….

And if my delegation is any indication, these efforts are pissing people off more than anything.

Keep callin’, robo-Chris.
I don’t love ’em, but I can see why Gabs is using them: not enough volunteers.

I’ve gotten personal calls from all the candidates’ volunteers and was particularly impressed to get personal calls from LG volunteers. Silbert had a local supporter calling, as did Kelley. That means more to me than some robot. Both were sincere and although they couldn’t answer all of my detailed questions, I didn’t begrudge them because they’re just volunteers and not issues people. I’ve also heard from Murray’s team and got a mailing from him the other day. (Tim – go easy on the endorsements, dude. Remember Jim Segel?)

All in all, it seems that the candidates are doing what they have to do and it will really be up to us delegates. As I’ve said, I’m either a Silbert or Murray guy, cuz I want to WIN in November and those two are, to my mind, the only two that give us a shot.
I got four calls from Gabrieli types yesterday. One robo, one survey, one botched volunteer call (they called but it was just the woman talking to her supervisor on my answering machine), and finally an actual live person. I feel bad about chewing out the last guy, but four calls in the same day?!
You must be able to either deliver mucho delegates or you (un)lucky!

It sounds like that other woman sat on her cell phone or something. Love it when that happens.
So don’t chew out the volunteer guy. Just tell him calmly, “this is the fourth call I got from your campaign today”. Though, are you sure the survey was from the Gabrieli campaign, not some allied organization? (hmm, does he have any endorsing organizations yet?)
I’m a pretty even tempered guy most of the time. I just told him that I got four phone calls that day and I’m not really interested.

The survey guy was really cagey. He would not tell me who he doing this for. I suppose that it might have been some other organization, but really, who else is interested in this information? Reilly knows he’s got his fifteen, and he doesn’t care about winning the convention. Patrick’s people would not have called me unless they’re completely disorganized. A news organization would have said they were a news organization. Who else is there?
I dunno, but Goldberg could have some $$ to burn. Murray seems possible too, if he’s gunning for a first-ballot win. Maybe even Kelley, if he wants to make sure he gets on.

Did they ask about any other races that Gov?
