Just got a robo-call from the Reilly campaign, (with a Caller ID block), telling me Reilly NEEDS my vote because there will only be one ballot. It played up Deval’s delegate count as the reason.
But my vote is locked for Deval on the first ballot (and every ballot thereafter!), because Deval’s campaign is the only one that is 100% organic. No Droids, No Cyborgs. The November Election is going to be won with votes from people, not robo-callers… and Deval’s campaign is in touch with the people. This campaign is making personal contacts across the state with ordinary people, and if we keep doing this until November, it won’t matter how much money Kerry Healey spends.

That’s not what Chris Gabrieli’s campaign said! They wouldn’t misrepresent the facts, would they?
joeltpatterson says
They could have just paid some people $10 to show up at caucuses last winter, and they wouldn’t be scrambling madly right now, saying anything, anything to get delegates.

Don’t they see that this kind of poor organization will only trip them up once they are in office? Oh, unless they think a governor just has to sit around and gab on TV once in a while.

just for the post’s title. Hilarious.

Deval is robo calling too. He’s as “organic” as the rest. Not that I blame him, but let’s make sure the record is accurate.

The arguments were going so good for how “bad” the TR and CG are for using all the political tools at their disposal, especially “robo calling”.

Why can’t TR and CG just ties their hands behind their backs and help do themselves in?

Whatever happend about “discussing the issue”s instead of splitting hairs on campaign tactics?
joeltpatterson says
Because CG’s campaign has repeatedly been robo-callin’ me, and now I get one from TR. Sure, robo-calling is a tactic–I’m not sure how cheap it is, but sure volunteer calling is cheaper. How many volunteers do those guys have? Deval’s got 5,000.

I’ve had both robo and actual calls from all 3 campaigns. An older woman calling for Gabrieli, a young sounding woman for Reilly, and Patrick’s deputy field director.
katie-wallace says
Don’t be so quick to dis a robo call because whatever campaigns you are in favor of have used them and/or will use them in the future too. The robo call is a fact of life in politics now and its silly to say one campaign is bad because they did it.
