Romney FOR spreading disease

It is quite maddening to think that Romney’s run for president dooms more people to disease.  Now the legislature will have to override his veto and Romney can claim to his republican friends that he was against drug abuse.

I prefer to say that Romney is FOR spreading disease.

    So in 2006, Healey, against most all scientific and behavioral expertise, and even some expertise inside her own DPH, has come out against saving lives and money in exchange for votes and power.

    Of course she doesn’t have to worry about it touching her family in Prides Crossing. Of course if it was spreading in Prides Crossing she would be the head of a Governor’s Task Force to stompt it out. It’s almost like the Republican High Command’s attitude is let it spread in the Ghetto, among the minority population or the gay community. Where is the justice in that?

    • What really blows my mind and proves Healey will do anything to get elected is that she has an academic background, who is steep in the literture.  We have 46 other states with a similar law, and all the data and studies proves that this will save lives and not increase heroin use.  (I know I’d be tempted to shot up if I could buy a needle at a drug store.)

  2. By denying same sex couples equal recognition under the law, but supporting measures that would attempt to remedy ownership, care and survival rights, he is also promoting “Sex Outside of Marriage”

  4. First Smart Mass, thanks for the posting on this.  Secondly did any one catch the IDENTICAL talking points of hate that both Kerry Healey and Reed Hillman used on this issue?

    There message disipline is scarey and deserves it’s own posting. But check Healey quote in the Globe on June 23:

    Imagine your children not only coming upon dirty needles in the park, but standing next to a drug addict in the checkout line of CVS who is there to buy more needles," said Healey, over the chorus of advocates standing nearby chanting,Clean needles save lives” and “We need to make sure that this bill goes no further.”

    And now let’s see what Reed had to say about the same issue in a June 29 Globe article.

    Why do I consider this “hate” speech (it certainly is scare speech)?  Because I’ve met heroin addicts–all of them in recovery sure and they are struggling everyday to cope with their addictions.  They should be used as a whipping post for Healey’s fake rhetoric.

    And if their is a reason a heroin addict is in line next to your children–IT’S BECAUSE MITT ROMNEY CUT HUNDREDS OF DRUG TREATMENT FROM THE BUDGET!  These effing people!
