Some time earlier this month, according to the good people of statcounter, BMG recorded its one millionth page view.
Also from the “not terribly meaningful statistics” file, we’re rapidly approaching our 1,500th registered user, our 3,000th post, and our 20,000th comment.
Onward!
Please share widely!
would tell you that I have visited BMG 1 million times myself!!!
Congrats! A great product obviously has been well-received. Now if we could just get some more moderate Dems on board!
And don’t take this the wrong way…but all the ones I’ve met (here in my town at least) are not as inclined to get involved and be passionate about politics. Being moderate means being in the middle, compromise, etc. Hard to get excited about compromise, want to work really hard to acheive a goal. These are the people who populate my DTC but never really DO anything.

However, all the progressives I’ve met at the very least are consumers of political information, and most of them are activists in some form or fashion (even if it’s not directly tied to electoral politics). They are people who work for affordable housing, or universal health care, or people like me who are interested in electing people.

Just my thoughts on the matter, I could be wrong.
“Being moderate means being in the middle, compromise, etc”

I disagree
And you regard this as a GOOD thing?

How many PRODUCE for the economy instead of massaging it?
This reminds me of the suggestive language instruction tape loops running in the johns at the Paris in Las Vegas. One phrase was “Oo la la, quelle grande baguette!”
Moderates are the butter.
