The real race for governor starts right after labor day so why do we see an endorsement of a candidate from a political blog by its owners so very early on ?
The only logical reason I see was that BMG was a set up job by the Patrick camp from the outset, and has sucked all of those of us who thought David and the boys were honest forthright blog masters who had pride in their product. What a disgrace and an insult to all of us who thought you guys were on the level.
The original lure of BMG to me and what helped to make the site not just another run of the mill lefty rah rah club was a sense of objectivety that was apparent from the posts of the founders . I don’t think BMG should endorse any candidate. So, please this is not sour grapes. This is an objective view of someone who smells a rat and let others that make their own judgements.
As owners, I don’t believe it is not your mission to use you rpopularity to destroy or endorse any candidate , because doing so diminishes all the credibility that you built up the past year with those of us who look at both sides. I , probably by mistake, thought the purpose of the site was to provide an objective (liberally slanted) forum for moderates like me and MD and EB to express our different ideas and as a result engender new and interesting ways to save the world.
The real campaign for governor does not start for another 2 weeks so I simply don’t get the thinking behind your decision. It makes no sense why you would piss away all the credibility built up. Therefore, it can only infer that BMG was always a contrived setup for Patrick and you have been very crafty in luring us all in.
