The Globe has a good story today on the state party’s “campaign without a candidate,” otherwise known as Mass. Victory ’06. Among other things, the story has some new details on the big-ticket fundraisers that the party will be holding this fall: NM Gov. Bill Richardson, “the Senators’ wives” (Victoria Reggie Kennedy and Teresa Heinz Kerry), and on Oct. 17, the big enchilada: Bill Clinton. (Got your $10,000 ticket price ready?)
I’ve written before about the Mass. Victory ’06 effort; see my previous post for more details on how this campaign is expected to work, and why every Democrat, in addition to supporting his or her favored candidates, should also support MaVic06. I’ve put up a link on the right-hand sidebar so that, whenever the spirit moves you, it’ll be easy to kick in another few bucks to this worthy cause.
