The Murray Campaign recently announced that Kenneth Reeves, Mayor of Cambridge, has joined the many other mayoral endorsers on Tim Murrays list of supporters.
Mr. Reeves is serving his third term in Cambridge and is the first openly gay African-American mayor in not only Cambridge, but in the entire country. He is considered to be very progressive, and represents the more liberal side of Massachusetts elected officials. Mayor Reeves has decided to endorse Murray for many reasons and stresses that “Tim Murray is an urban mayor who will bring fresh ideas to urban education, violence and health care. We need a strong Democratic Lt. Governor like Tim to carry out these ideas in the corner office.” This is a very important endorsement in the progressive community
This endorsement only strengthens Tims standing as a well-rounded outreaching candidate who speaks to elected officials as the strongest candidate. Tim unites citizens of diverse political leanings and affiliations. It is clear that Murrays support is non partisan. Tim will work for the interests of everyone, not just one particular group.

I just saw on Tim Murray’s website that REP Antonio Cabral from New Bedford endorsed Murray. Cabral holds alot of weight in his city and must believe in Tim’s message knowing that he is in primary race as well. Murray’s camp is building support despite not having the millions. A hard working middle class man with a know how to work with people from all levels is why Tim Murray can win this race and add to the team. GO Murray Tim for TWO !
