What would you rather have? A candidate who spends his own money on a campaign and is beholden to no one or a candidate who puts the millions of Coke, Ameriquest, and Texaco into the campaign and is beholden to the vested interests of big corporations? ThatÂ’s a no-brainer.

If he had put the “millions” into the campaign, he’d be on tv a heck of a lot more — đŸ™‚

Your very nom de blog, “Too left for me,” was taken as an attack on Patrick. But now you seem to say he’s too beholden to corporate interests. So what is it — is he too left or too corporate? Or is he just not your guy?

And furthermore, no, many of us don’t think it’s so great for any candidate to be able to put great personal wealth (“spend his own money” as you put it) into election campaigns. Not Gabrieli, not Healey, not Patrick, not Corzine, not Romney, not Lamont, not Kerry, none of ’em.
