In today’s Boston Herald … yours truly:
That’s David and me in the lower left of the rogue’s gallery there — no, not wearing the feather headdress! It’s a nice article; thanks to Emma Ratliff of the Herald.
One correction: I’m not a Harvard grad. That would be Bob. I went to Oberlin. And I think the traffic counts are a little strange, but whatever. Here’s the real deal.
See who else is “hot” on Beacon Hill — Cyndi Roy of the MassDems, Linda Dorcena Forry, Lauren Nicoll (Healey’s press secretary), etc.
Please share widely!

Kind of weird … I guess nobody’s reading the blog since it’s raining. (???)

Who’s your wife? I’m OC ’94. (Email me if you want to stay anonymous.)

I’ve been advocating you guys in my small circle for the past year (after I found you googling on the special elections.) It’s pretty cool to see you grace the front page of the new Sunday Herald.

Those of us who have been following you for awhile, though, knew it was a matter of time before everyone else caught up.

Keep up the great work!

To get in the paper, but at least this way my secret blogger identity has been preserved! đŸ˜‰

First let me say that I am truly amazed by the ascendancy of the triumvirate over the past several months. I cannot seem to get away from you guys. This weekend I turn on hate radio and there you are. Then I see you on the cover of the hate rag on Sunday. Truthfully, I am happy to see it as you three work very hard.

This particular one made me think of my college years. I visited Oberlin once to see if I could rekindle an old romance with my high school sweetheart, and during my wooing of this fair lass some angry dude called me a “breeder.” I didn’t know whether I should be angry or not. Flummoxed by my dilemma I had no snappy comeback for this young tough. I struck out with the old girlfriend too. I will never go back.

Heh. I visited Oberlin once to visit a then-current girlfriend, and had a great few days đŸ™‚

I also visited Oberlin several other times: To see The Nields play, to pick up someone who wanted to join me to see The Nields and Eddie From Ohio in Michigan… I visited different people who I met through different paths, and somehow, I always always ended up staying in East. I suspect East is the only real dorm and all the rest are facades đŸ™‚

Incidentally, Georgia Isman, who managed Pat Jehlen’s campaign and Claire Naughton’s first campaign and who now heads the Mass Alliance, is a recent Oberlin alumna.
