From South Boston Online:
Andrea Silbert for Lt. Governor
South Boston Online believes its time we chose proven and experienced public service leaders for elected office over career politicians and destablishment. To that end, we are proud to endorse Democrat Andrea Silbert in her campaign for Lt. Governor. After a brief stint in the private sector, Andrea dedicated her life and career to helping the disadvantaged and the middle-class take hold of their lives. As the co-founder and CEO of the statewide, non-profit Center for Women and Enterprise, Andrea and her team helped over 10,000 women and men create 14,000 new jobs and $400 million in new wages. Many of the people Andrea Silbert helped were very poor or on welfare and not only did she help them become self-sufficient, she helped take them from people who depended on government services to people who paid income taxes, employed other people and paid into the system that funds government services. Thats leadership and thats results. Finally, Andrea lives like most of us live, as a middle-class mother of 3. She understands health care and housing costs like we do, she understands education as the mother of children who must rely on the public schools. She protects the environment so all of our families have clean air and water. Shes a voice for families. On September 19, please give your vote to Andrea Silbert, Democrat for Lt. Governor.
